The Artist Bio
Sharlene A. Provilus also known as “Childlikfaith” has been writing since she was a child. Growing up in Brooklyn, New York she used poetry writing as a form of general expression. She and her family later moved to North Carolina, where she attended East Carolina University. In 2005 she received a degree in Sociology with a concentration in marriage and family.
One year later she made a decision that would affect her destiny for eternity. In November of 2006 she fully rededicated her life to the Lord and she has been growing ever since. Once a childhood hobby, writing became a vital part of her ministry. With a truth message delivered in an unorthodox method, she uses her gift of expression to bring impact to the Body of Christ and draw non-believers.
Childlikfaith has been ministering publicly through Spoken Word and Holy Hip Hop since September 2007. To date, Childlikfaith has poured her heart out before crowds of over 2,000+.
Now she grows as an entrepreneur, writer, spoken word poet, student and servant. Completely loved by and in love with God— she value’s people, good conversation, progress and personal growth. Her personal vision statement is simply this: “LIVE FREE”— Being sincere in love, transparent in life and simple in message! She feels charged to live as an original, doing her creative best with what gifts, time and talents she’s been given.
